FAQ
What languages and technologies do you specialize in?
I have a strong knowledge of HTML and CSS and Bricks-based building methodologies. I can also help you with JS and PHP and making any custom WordPress plugins. I’m very familiar with WooCommerce and I’m also able to work with Shopify .
Are you familiar with the core concepts of responsive design, fluid typography, maintainable class-based styling, BEM naming conventions, CSS variables?
Absolutely. I’ve learned a lot about CSS since the time when it didn’t even exist (when websites were built with tables) up until now with true fluid design using CALC and variables. I’ve learned a lot recently especially from watching Kevin Geary’s Page Builder 101 front to back and being a Kevin Powell acolyte.
Are you familiar with responsive design and mobile optimization?
These days true mobile optimised website and fluid responsive design is capable with CALC and CSS variables, yes. We don’t use ‘pixels’ in any of our work. The days of ‘pixel perfect’ design are gone in a sense because we must use fluid typography and spacing that adjusts for the hundreds of different screen sizes available on todays market. Making a website that looks good on every type of monitor, tablet, notebook and mobile device.
How do you approach website performance and optimization?

How do you stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies?
I follow Kevin Powell and Kevin Geary, on YouTube and Facebook and stay up to date with their latest content. I’m also in several Facebook groups for web developers such as The Admin Bar and Bricks Builders groups. Plus I’m always learning on the job, new ways to do things, plus from the smart folk I work with on a day to day basis.
Can you work independently or as part of a team?
I’ve work in both roles independantly and as a team. Team work can be managed with any project management software, I’ve used them all, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, you name it. Independantly or as a team I can log work done, take notes on anything that pops up you will want to know about plus checking daily and even send you short Loom update videos so you (and the team) always know what’s going on.
Can you provide ongoing website maintenance and updates?
Yeah I can do that. I have a few clients who I maintain their websites for on a monthly basis. I don’t maintain every type of website though, I need to check what tech stack you use on that site, so get in touch and we’ll discuss it.
How do you handle multiple projects or deadlines simultaneously
Well if it’s absolutely jam packed with too much work for one man to handle I have two other developers who I’ve worked with on various other projects. They can be brought on to make sure multiple projects can be completed in time. If the work load is enough for one man to handle then it’s quite simple, I just handle it like my day to day life. I have multiple things that need to be done in any given day, from client projects, ongoing monthly work, marketing, sales, website maintenance. Everything goes into my project management software and is assigned a block of time in my weekly calendar.
Are you familar with SEO and Google Ads?
Yes. We’ve had some great results with other clients. Get in touch and we can discuss that too.
